Ready for a little cognitive dissonance? Check out this footage of the Gamescom build of Bulletstorm, featuring commentary by producer Tanya Jessen. The game is as violent, gory, and inexplicably disgusting as ever (you can even hear the infamous "Yum yum blister juice" line spoken in this clip), and Jessen's discussion is calm and conversational, even as she describes four-barreled shotguns and mutants covered with pus . The Dead Space 2 Gamescom 2010 trailer may not have any Necromorphs lurking about, but that doesn't make it any less terrifying. Oh sure, it's just Isaac rocketing into space and subsequently avoiding various detritus, but take a second to think about it. One misstep and you fly off into the inky blackness forever, helpless to stop the inertia. Okay, he does have rocket boots, but we're afraid of space, okay? [ via Joystiq [PlayStation] ]

The debut trailer for BioWare's next, arguably even bloodier installment in its newest RPG franchise, Dragon Age 2, recently saw the light of day during EA's Gamescom press conference. Though trailers for the first installment focused on the game's menagerie of protagonists, this clip focuses on just one: Hawke, the spear-staff wielding badass who can apparently hold his own in a fight against the burliest of demons. Then again, when you can summon demon hands to literally rip enemies in twain, we suppose your fighting prowess isn't all that important. [ via Joystiq [PlayStation] ]

EA has just announced a partnership with none-other than the hard-hitting Linkin Park to help skyrocket its Medal of Honor franchise to levels yet unknown. Aside from being a superb group of performers, Linkin Park is certainly not shy when it comes to putting together tracks that ...
