If you have been holding back on buying an iPad just because it does not offer Flash support, there’s good news for you. Comex – a popular iPhone community hacker responsible for the iPad “Spirit” jailbreak, has developed an iPad port of Adobe’s Flash runtime for Android. The application is codenamed Frash and is capable of rendering Flash-based programs in Safari browser. The remainder of this piece is his comments on the subject. Inside Apple’s iPad: Adobe Flash . I’m biased. I’m a full-time Flash developer and I’d love to get paid to make Flash sites for iPad. I want that to make sense—but it doesn’t. Flash on the iPad will not (and should not) happen—and the main reason, as I see it, is one that never gets talked about: Current Flash sites could never be made work well on ...

Phonescoop have the chance to try the latest Flash experience on the Nexus One. With the 1GHz processor, the flash video and games are running smoothly. It’s the real and complete internet. Apparently, Adobe is not lazy at all. Steve Jobs, iPad is also using fast processor at 1GHz speed. Why don’t you want to add the Flash? Don’t say people don’t need it. As we can see in the comments, there are lots of iPhone users saying they want to switch to Google Android simply because it has Flash. - via WinandMac
