Ever since Microsoft their Surface touchscreen table we have seen a number of manufacturers producing similar devices. Now Sony intends to take on Microsoft and their Surface with the atracTable.
The Sony atracTable was first shown off last year, and the table is based on Atracsys Multi-touch interaction technology, and Sony have incorporated the technology in a 35 inch touchscreen table.
The Sony atracTable can interact with objects that are place on the surface, just like the Microsoft Surface, you can see it in action in the video below.

Remember Floppy discs? In case you haven’t noticed (like I didn’t), Sony is actually still making and selling those discs. But soon it’s time to say goodbye, as the company now said [JP] it will stop production in March next year. Sony rolled out the world’s first 3.5-inch floppy disc back in 1981. Sony has reportedly signed a deal with MLBAM to bring Major League Baseball to its PS3 console. The deal will bring baseball to the PlayStation Network and users will be able to watch live games on their PS3.
As well as being able to watch live streamed baseball games, PS3 users will also have access to game archives, real time highlights and condensed games.

Earlier today Sony announced the release of three new home audio products: the HT-CT350 and HT-CT150 3.1 sound bars, as well as the HT-SF470 5.1 surround sound system. All the new models feature 3D pass-through and standby pass-through for audio and video devices connected via HDMI. As with many Sony products, these new systems are designed to integrate with Sony’s BRAVIA televisions and Blu-ray players.
The HT-CT150 is a 340 watt sound bar that comes with a bracket that attaches to Sony’s 2010 32-inch BRAVIA HDTVs. The HT-CT350 is a similar 400 watt system designed to match 40-inch or larger TVs. ...
