On April 27 we say goodbye to a dear friend. Yes, the release of Super Street Fighter IV is most definitely something to celebrate, but we can't ever forget just how much the original Street Fighter IV boosted the fighting game community. From its debut in the arcades to the incredibly successful console release, Street Fighter IV blew the doors off what was once a considerably tough community to crack and I for one am glad for that. For as much as I'm praising SF4, it's by no means a perfect game. In fact, at times its a downright silly display ...

Our friend Maj is back with another insane SFIV combo video, this time featuring the aged Shotokan master Gouken. Gouken can create free juggle states with seven different moves, whereas most characters only have lvl2/lvl3 Focus Attacks to rely on. However, only four of his attacks possess inherent juggle potential, none of which are particularly versatile. Furthermore, he’s remarkably unique within the Shoto family, so it’s interesting to experiment with visually familiar yet functionally divergent attacks inspired by Ryu and Ken’s moveset.

As reported (and following Final Fantasy I and II, which are now available), the App Store will get another hit Japanese video game this month, Streetfighter IV. It will be the first mobile version of the Arcade game that so far was only ported to PS3, XBO360 and the PC. And today maker Capcom released the official trailer and a slew of new screenshots.
The game will cost $9.99 and offer a total of eight characters (Ryu, Ken, Guile, Blanka, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, M. Bison and Abel), nine less than the Arcade version.
Here’s the trailer (watch out for the controls):

Today I just searched for "Gouken" at deviantArt and discovered these super cool untooned artworks by cazetta. I share it over here for your enjoyment. Street Fighter's fans should in-love with it.
Please share to your Street Fighter friends as well!

IGN has confirmed some additional details on Capcom’s upcoming release of Street Fighter IV for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game will allow users to play as one of eight characters from the console game: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Blanka, M. Bison, Abel, Guile, and Dhalsim. There will reportedly be no additional characters that can be unlocked later in the game. It is expected that the same moves will be available on the iPhone as the console version for each of the fighters, and both single player and local two-player modes will be supported. An on-screen joystick and virtual buttons ...

Street Fighter IV… on the iPhone? Capcom is going for it this March, bringing the acclaimed fighter to Apple's handhelds. But this is no quickie, banged-out port. Capcom has taken months to come up with suitable controls for a platform with no physical buttons, employing a virtual pad and move buttons to recreate the arcade stick right on the touchscreen. After all, without great controls, what's the point?
Capcom is not accepting any loss of the console game's beloved art direction in the iPhone edition. It has taken assets straight from the current-gen code, so the new art style that won universal ...
